Mountain Country Christmas in Lights at Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds
Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds are host to a range of awesome activities year-round, and the holidays are no exception. Some of the best Christmas lights in Georgia can be found at their Mountain Country Christmas in Lights event that runs until the day after Christmas. You’ll find light displays, vendors selling crafts and food, and of course visits and photos with Santa Claus (socially distanced, of course).
Margaritaville’s Lakeside Lights Spectacular at Lanier Islands

The lights display is open until Jan. 5th every day, then weekends only from Jan. 9 to Feb. 21.
World of Illumination’s Candy Rush @ Six Flags White Water
If you want to go big for Christmas lights, there’s nowhere bigger than World of Illuminations Candy Rush. From the 40-foot tall candy cane sculpture (the biggest in the world) to the 500 foot long light tunnel, you won’t find anything like it in the world.
Located at Six Flags White Water in Marietta, World of Illumination’s Candy Rush is open now through Jan. 3, so don’t miss your chance to take in the magic! Plus, the park is totally COVID-friendl thanks to the fact that you take it all in from the comfort of your car.
Holly Jolly Jekyll
Jekyll Island is one of Georgia’s most beloved barrier islands, and this year they’ve revamped to make their annual holiday display better, brighter, and more COVID-friendly. IT runs until Jan. 3, 2021 and you don’t want to miss some of the best Christmas lights in Georgia— including 35,000 lights on The Great Tree.
Stone Mountain Christmas
Stone Mountain Park features vintage trains and much more, and in the holiday season it really comes alive and becomes host to some of the best Christmas lights in Georgia. Enchanted Garden of Lights at Rock City Gardens
The Enchanted Garden of Lights at Rock City Gardens is located in the beautiful landscape of Lookout Mountain, GA. It boasts over a million lights ranging from the Arctic Kingdom Aurora to the Magic Forest—including the ability to walk right through the middle of a 40-foot-tall Christmas tree. You’ll also find gifts, treats, and things to warm you up at the North Pole Lodge.

Fantasy in Lights at Callaway Resort & Gardens

With almost 30 years of putting on a holiday light show, they’ve honed Christmas magic to a science. The centerpiece is the Field of Lights display, with lights stretching out across the grass for the length of two entire football fields punctuated by a 10-story-tall Christmas tree light display.
